Thanks to IOSPIRIT (the developers of one of my other favorite remote apps Remote Buddy) I can use my remote again with their alternate driver called candelair.

Given I could always use my remote in Front Row but since Snow Leopard my remote hasn’t worked in Hulu Desktop, Boxee, or even XBMC.

This driver fixes that very issue and seems to revert back to OSX 10.5 functionality!
